Previously, the attorney for the United Pati Community Alliance (AMPB), Nimerodi Gulo, said that the articles used to ensnare the two AMPB leaders were inappropriate.According to the overlay article that was applied, it is suspected that it was deliberately intended to criminalize two AMPB leaders.
“As we know from the start, the articles that Mas Teguh and Mas Botok were charged with were rubbish articles that were deliberately created by investigators and then it was often said that this was a spectacle to the public about the stupidity committed by the police,” he explained.
“It turns out that this display of stupidity, friends of the Prosecutor’s Office, cannot be a second filter. The prosecutor should be a second filter for these rubbish articles, but it turns out this is through,” he continued.
Therefore, he hopes that the Panel of Judges will not only judge but also provide a sense of justice for the people.
“Our hope is that the panel of judges will seek justice, not just to judge, but to try. We hope that this case will be examined objectively, the correct articles will be applied, don’t miss out on applying this rubbish article,” he explained.
