Suspect in alleged corruption case in digitalization of education procurement

, was again dismissed (suspended detention period) because he needed medical treatment at the hospital.
“The person concerned was taken to hospital because he was sick and needed treatment,” said Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Center Anang Supriatna in Jakarta, Thursday.

Anang said Nadiem had been in bed since Monday (8/12) evening at a hospital in the Jakarta area.
Even though he was taken to the hospital, Anang ensured that Nadiem was looked after by officers.
“Guarded by officers from the Prosecutor’s Office,” he said.
However, he did not reveal the illness Nadiem was suffering from.
In September 2025, the former Minister of Education and Culture was taken to hospital to undergo surgery.Nadiem’s mother-in-law, Sania Makki, previously said that her son-in-law underwent perianal fistula surgery.
Currently, Nadiem will undergo trial along with three other suspects in this corruption case, namely the Technology Consultant for the Ministry of Education and Culture, Ibrahim Arief.
Then, the Director of Elementary Schools (SD) at the Directorate General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education and Secondary Education in 2020-2021 as well as the Budget User Authority within the Directorate of Elementary Schools for the 2020-2021 Fiscal Year, Sri Wahyuningsih.
Finally, the Director of Junior High Schools (SMP) at the Directorate General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education and Secondary Education in 2020-2021 as well as the Budget User Authority (KPA) within the Directorate of Middle Schools for the 2020-2021 Fiscal Year, Mulyatsyah.
The first trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court will be held on December 16.
The case will be examined and tried by the chairman of the panel, Purwanto S. Abdullah, with judges including Sunoto, Eryusman, Mardiantos and Andi Saputra.
