) Bima Arya Sugiarto asked all Regional Governments to learn to apply values

through the National Human Rights Development Planning Conference (Musrembang).
He said that the Musrembang held by the Ministry of Human Rights was important so that national development was carried out based on human rights.Bima said that his party was also ready to participate in the Musrembang.
“Of course the Ministry of Home Affairs supports that. We are ready (if invited to provide material),” he told reporters, Friday (5/12).

Bima assessed that the National Human Rights Musrembang was also in line with the Asta Cita echoed by President Prabowo Subianto.Therefore, he said that the National Human Rights Musrembang must receive special attention.
“This is part of Asta Cita which is mandatory, it must be the attention of not only the central government but regional heads as well,” he explained.
He reminded that the regional government is an extension of the central government, so it must be encouraged to implement human rights values in development.
“Because the regional head is at the forefront of fulfilling the basic rights of citizens, the regional head must be able to understand that (human rights values),” he said.
Previously, the Ministry of Human Rights formulated steps for human rights development in the National Human Rights Musrenbang which will be held from Monday (8/12) to Wednesday (10/12).
Minister of Human Rights Natalius Pigai said that the National Human Rights Musrenbang was the first in Indonesia.He said this policy was a milestone in the history of developing human rights as an intangible asset.
“So far there have been national development deliberations, now there is another National Human Rights Musrenbang which is officially carried out by the government of the Republic of Indonesia. This is one of the most important historical milestones,” he explained.
Pigai believes that the National Human Rights Musrenbang is part of the national strategic plan, as well as a follow-up to President Prabowo Subianto’s Astacita mandate which places the human rights aspect in the first point.
The Musrenbang will later formulate steps for national human rights development to realize strategic plans, mainstream human rights in national development and achieve Indonesia’s target of leading the world by 2045.
