According to Megawati, defending the Proliga title will be more difficult than winning it.Because of this, Megawati felt the burden of winning again.
“Of course it’s hard because defending the championship. Last year I didn’t participate in Pertamina, I was in the Petro team and won third place, then Pertamina won first place. So maybe maintaining it is more difficult, it definitely has its own burden,” said Megawati, quoted by Antara.
“The target is of course the best, to maintain too, because maintaining is more difficult than achieving,” added Megawati.
On this occasion, Megatron, nicknamed Megawati, also revealed the decision to return to Jakarta Pertamina.Megawati said she had no special reason to return to JPE.
“I was born in Proliga, I also debuted at Pertamina. There’s no reason, because I’m free every year, so I can join wherever I want,” said Megawati.
Jakarta Pertamina Enduro Manager Widi Triyoso said his team’s preparations were running smoothly ahead of the 2026 Proliga.
“The total number of players is actually 19, but PB only allows 15. We will evaluate four players later,” said Widi.
“The new one, namely Wilma Salas from Cuba, just arrived yesterday but the team has been able to train for about a month.”
