“Ladies and gentlemen, do you still remember this? Do you still remember Team 8? How come the 8 numbers are right? This is a memory, but also history, right? Beautiful history because there is always a lesson from it all,” said AHY when receiving a visit from PKS officials at the Democratic DPP, Jakarta, Tuesday (25/11).
AHY is grateful that the Democrats and PKS are now working together again in the Prabowo-Gibran government to contribute to the country.He then delivered a rhyme.

“In the past, we were united in change, what do you mean by parting in the middle of the road. The important thing is to maintain friendship and friendship, because for Indonesia we have one hope and goal,” said AHY.
Meanwhile, PKS President Al Muzammil Yusuf said that PKS and the Democrats had long experience together in the era of the 6th President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
He also mentioned the togetherness of PKS and Democrats in Team 8.
“Some time ago, Team 8, we were together. Even though there were a few problems in Team 8, I think the Democrats and PKS can still maintain friendship and mutual understanding,” said Muzammil.
Team 8 was formed by the Coalition for Change for Unity (KPP) which is carrying Anies Baswedan in the 2024 presidential election.
This small team consists of delegates from each of the top officials of the three coalition parties supporting Anies, namely NasDem, Democrat, PKS plus representatives of Anies himself.
This team was initially formed to find and consider a number of figures who were predicted to be worthy of accompanying Anies Baswedan in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).
Members of this team from the Nasdem Party are represented by Sugeng Suparwoto and Willy Aditya.
Then the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) was represented by Sohibul Iman and Al Muzammil Yusuf.From the Democratic Party, they are represented by Teuku Riefky Harsya and Iftitah Sulaiman Suryanegara.
Meanwhile, Anies’ representatives were former BUMN Minister Sudirman Said and Dadang Dirgantara.
The team disbanded after the Democrats left the coalition.The Democrat’s move was due to Anies collaborating with PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar as vice presidential candidate.
