Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Center, Anang Supriatna, said that the auction process will be carried out by the Attorney General’s Asset Recovery Agency (BPA), on Tuesday (2/12), via the website.

“, which will be held on Tuesday 2 December 2025 [bidding deadline is 14.00 WIB server time],” he said in a written statement, Tuesday (25/11).

He said that the auction of assets belonging to convict Mahmoud Mohamed Abdelaziz Mohamed Hatiba would be carried out through the intermediary of the Batam State Property and Auction Services Office (KPKNL).
Anang explained that the implementation of this auction was based on Batam District Court Decision Number 941/Pid.Sus/2023/PN.Btm dated July 10 2024.
“Currently the ship is in Batu Ampar Waters, Batu Merah Village, Batu Ampar District, Batam City, Riau Islands Province,” he said.
Based on the specifications, this tanker has the Iranian flag IMO 9116412 with the year of manufacture 1997 in South Korea.Meanwhile, this ship contains light crude oil with a volume of 166,975.36 metric tons or 1,245,166.9 barrels.
“The total limit value of the auction objects is IDR 1,174,503,193,400 and the auction security deposit is IDR 118,000,000,000,” he explained.
According to the provisions, prospective auction participants must have a verified account on the page

and are required to meet special requirements.
These requirements are, namely, a Business Entity that has an oil and natural gas processing business permit, or a Business Entity that has an oil and natural gas trading business permit.
Apart from that, prospective participants can also come from contractors and/or contractor affiliates in accordance with the provisions of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation regarding priority utilization of petroleum to meet domestic needs.
Auction requirements documents must be uploaded to the website
www.lelang.go.id
and the physical documents must be sent to the Batam District Prosecutor’s Office no later than November 26 2025.
