The Brazilian player is also aware of the enormous responsibility that every Arsenal player bears when wearing the club uniform.
“We wear the uniform of one of the biggest clubs in the world, so everyone understands their responsibilities every time they step onto the pitch,” Martinelli said.
Martinelli emphasized the importance of maintaining calm and focus in facing each match ahead.
“But the most important thing is to stay calm. We know our strengths, we know the quality of our squad, and we believe in ourselves. We also believe in the club and the coach, so we need to stay calm, focus on each match one by one, and try to win,” said Martinelli.
Furthermore, the 24 year old player emphasized that individual quality alone is not enough to win the Premier League title.
“We understand that we will not win the title just because we have good players. We have to play with all our heart, put our passion into our boots,” said Martinelli.
“That’s what we need to do every time we step on the pitch. We give our best, not just for ourselves, but for the club, for the people who work here, for our families and for each other,” Martinelli added.

Apart from the technical and mental aspects, Martinelli also revealed the spiritual side that is part of the strength of the Arsenal team.
“We had a meeting before the game to thank God for all He has done in our lives. We know how lucky we are, and understand that without Him, we would not be here.”
With self-confidence, hard work and togetherness, Arsenal hopes to be able to maintain their top position until the end of the season.
