Earth magnitude 4.7 rocked Solok Regency, West Sumatra (

), Wednesday (10/12) at 02.48 WIB.
Quoting the official account from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the epicenter of the earthquake was on land at a depth of 10 kilometers.
Meanwhile, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at coordinates 0.99 degrees South Latitude and 100.71 degrees East Longitude, or around 18 kilometers southwest of Solok Regency.

The earthquake reported by BMKG was felt quite strongly in a number of areas of West Sumatra.Solok Regency: III-IV MMI, felt by many people inside the house, windows and doors were shaking.
Padang and Solok City: II-III MMI, vibrations were felt in the house and light objects swayed.
Sijunjung and Sawahlunto: I-II MMI, felt by a small number of residents, hanging objects were moving slowly.
Until this news was published there had been no reports of building damage or casualties due to the earthquake.
