List of 23 Indonesian U-23 National Team Players at the SEA Games: There is Marselino

Indonesian U-23 National Team coach Indra Sjafri officially named 23 players to compete in the 2025 SEA Games.
The player composition consists of players from Super League clubs and the diaspora competing in Europe.
Of the 23 players, four of them play abroad, namely Marselino Ferdinan, Ivar Jenner, Mauro Zijlstra and Dion Markx.

“Thank God, the training camp process in Jakarta has been completed and we have selected 23 players according to the 2025 SEAGames regulations,” said Indra Sjafri on the official PSSI website.
Indra Sjafri explained that eight players had to be sent back to their home clubs because the maximum limit was only 23 names that could be registered.
“This decision was taken after a thorough evaluation based on data available during training camps in October and November as well as observations of players while playing in the Super League which was carried out with the coaching staff and team performance,” he added.
At the 2025 SEA Games, Indonesia is in group C with the Philippines, Singapore and Myanmar.Indonesia is planned to start its first match against Singapore on December 5.
“On this occasion we would like to thank PSSI for trying to ensure that overseas players can take part in the 2025 SEA Games even though it is not on the FIFA calendar. Thank you also to the I.League and the clubs who have helped in the formation of the 2025 SEA Games national team squad and the determination of these 23 players,” said Indra Sjafri.
Before taking part in the 2025 SEA Games, Garuda Muda played an international trial match against India and Mali, who each played twice at Madya Stadium, Jakarta and Pakansari Stadium, Bogor Regency.
