A number of provincial governments officially set provincial minimum wages
(UMP) 2026
which will be the lowest wage reference for employers.
A total of 21 provinces have announced the 2026 UMP through the Decree of the Governor of each region.

So far, the highest 2026 UMP is Bangka Belitung at IDR 4.03 million and the lowest is Yogyakarta Special RegionĀ IDR 2.41 million.
Meanwhile, the highest increase in the 2026 UMP was Central Sulawesi at 9.08 percent and the lowest was West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) at 2.72 percent.
The following is a list of the 2026 UMP in 21 provinces along with the amount of the increase.
1. North Sumatra: IDR 3.22 million (Up 7.9 percent)
2. South Sumatra: IDR 3.94 million (Up 7.1 percent)
3. West Sumatra: IDR 3.18 million (Up 6.3 percent)
4. Riau: IDR 3.78 million (Up 7.74 percent)
5. Riau Islands: IDR 3.87 (Up 7.06 percent)
6. Jambi: IDR 3.47 million (Up 7.33 percent)
7. Lampung: IDR 3.04 million (Up 5.35 percent)
8. Bangka Belitung: IDR 4.03 million (Up 4.05 percent)
9. Central Kalimantan: IDR 3.68 million (Up 6.12 percent)
10. DI Yogyakarta: IDR 2.41 million (Up 6.78 percent)
11. East Java: IDR 2.44 million (Up 6.1 percent)
12. Bali: IDR 3.2 million (Up 7.04 percent)
13. East Nusa Tenggara: IDR 2.45 million (Up 5.45 percent)
14. West Nusa Tenggara: IDR 2.67 million (Up 2.72 percent)
15. Gorontalo: IDR 3.4 million (Up 5.7 percent)
16. Central Sulawesi: IDR 3.17 million (Up 9.08 percent)
17. North Sulawesi: IDR 4 million (Up 6.01 percent)
18. Southeast Sulawesi: IDR 3.3 million (Up 7.58 percent)
19. South Sulawesi: IDR 3.92 million (Up 7.21 percent)
20. Maluku: IDR 3.33 million (Up 6.1 percent)
