Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Center, Anang Supriatna, said that the determination of the suspect was carried out by the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes after finding two sufficient pieces of evidence.
“The Attorney General’s Office today named the former Kajari Enrekang, in the South Sulawesi region Initial P [suspect] who currently serves as Kajari Central Bangka,” he told reporters, Monday (22/12).

Anang explained that this case started with reports of alleged transactions in the handling of Baznas corruption cases.
Armed with the public report, he said, the Attorney General’s supervisory team immediately carried out an investigation and found indications of bribery against Padeli.
“Inspected by supervision, it turned out that there was sufficient evidence and it was immediately transferred to Pidsus because neither intelligence nor supervision could handle it properly. Pidsus has the authority,” he added.
Apart from Padeli, Anang said that the AGO also named a private party with the initials SL as a suspect.In the process of handling this case, Padeli and SL received bribes of up to IDR 840 million.
“With the alleged crime of corruption, he received approximately IDR 840 million along with the initials SL,” he said.
