The police finally arrested Romadon, the dealer
drugs
who was said to have been released by the Muara Batang Girls Police, North Sumatra (

Previously, the news of Romadon’s release made residents emotional, causing them to damage police vehicles and burn down the Muara Batang Girls Police Station.
The Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Regional Police, Police Commissioner Ferry Walintukan, denied the news of Romadon’s release.His party claimed that in fact Romadon fled from the Muara Batang Girls Police.

“The police have returned to secure residents who had previously fled and were one of the factors causing misunderstanding in the community,” he said, Monday (22/12).
Currently, he added, the situation in the Muara Batang Girls Police area has gradually become more conducive.Nevertheless, Ferry said that internal evaluations would continue to be carried out to improve the quality of police services in the community.
“The National Police continues to prioritize a persuasive approach and communication with community leaders,” he added.
Previously, the Muara Batang Girls Police Station, in Mandailing Natal (Madina) Regency, North Sumatra (North Sumatra) was burned to the ground by residents, Saturday (20/12/2025).This incident occurred because residents were disappointed with the performance of the police who were suspected of releasing a drug dealer.
In the video circulating, the crowd was seen burning a motorbike parked in the police station yard.The fire then spread to the building and burned the roof of the office.Apart from that, a police service car was also overturned by residents.
The incident started with the arrest of a man named Romadon who was suspected of being a drug dealer in Singkuang Village, Friday (19/12/2025) at around 16.30 WIB.The residents, most of whom were housewives, then handed Romadon over to the Muara Batang Girls Police.
However, news that the man had been released by the police spread among the community and sparked disappointment.
Residents even saw Romadon outside the police station.Disappointed residents staged a protest at the Muara Batang Girls Police Station.They also blocked the road connecting Singkuang – Natal.
Later, the North Sumatra Regional Police deactivated the Muara Batang Girls Police Chief, Inspector Akmaluddin for the purposes of an internal investigation.He is now assigned as the First Officer (Pama) Yanma Polda North Sumatra.
