Janice Tjen
admitted that he was surprised by the jump in world rankings on the WTA which shot up to 54th place.
Janice Tjen is currently in the spotlight because of her achievements throughout 2025. Apart from winning two WTA 250 doubles tournaments, Janice is also the singles champion at the Chennai Open.
This achievement boosted Janice’s ranking in the WTA rankings from 412th in 2024 to 53rd in the world in November 2025. Currently, Janice’s WTA ranking is in 54th position according to the wtatennis site.

, Janice admits that her career progress in tennis occurred after graduating from college.
“Of course I’m very happy because my ranking allows me to enter bigger tournaments, so I’m very excited for that,” said Janice.
On this occasion, the 23-year-old tennis player also admitted that he was surprised by the jump in rankings which occurred faster than expected.
“I didn’t expect (the rankings) to increase that quickly,” said Janice.
Janice is grateful for her current progress in tennis, including leading the Indonesian National Tennis Team to win the women’s team gold medal at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.
“It’s a different feeling to have so many people supporting you,” Janice said.
After excelling at the 2025 SEA Games, Janice Tjen is now expected to excel at the 2026 Asian Games and qualify for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, United States.
