Insanul Fahmi answered a number of accusations of his having an affair with
Inara Rusli
circulating among netizens, starting from the same red bracelets to matching Umrah clothes.
According to Insan to Richard Lee in an interview video uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday (26/11), it was all a “coincidence”.

In that confession, the 25-year-old man admitted why he fell in love with Inara and dared to lie to Inara and his legal wife, Wardatina Mawa, just to be able to marry the mother of three children.
“Indeed, I have been wearing this bracelet since February or March, and when I met [Inara in July 2025] it turned out to be the same. She said, ‘I’ve been wearing it for a year, don’t share it with other people and I gave this to a friend’, while I bought it from a brother on the side of the road. So it wasn’t on purpose,” said Insan.
“What about clothes? Umrah together?”Richard asked.
“Well, I went on Umrah last December, and coincidentally no one was with me. He also left 1-2 months ago. Never did Umrah together,” answered Insan.
Insan also denied the news circulating that he was introduced to Inara by a cleric or from a certain religious institution.Insan said, they were introduced by their friends in July 2025 because they had similar business intentions.
The man who already has children also argued that he was not attracted to Inara because of Virgoun’s ex-wife’s public figure status, or because he wanted to pursue popularity.
“But I saw something [from Inara], she has religious values and she understands that. And actually she is good wife material. But I said at that time there was no intention, ‘and it just feels lucky that at any time there is a man who can be your husband’. That’s my assessment,” said Insan.

Insan realized that he said this to Inara while he was still Wardatina Mawa’s husband and had not officially separated.Apart from that, Insan argued that he thought Mawa had given him permission to remarry in 2023.

Until then, Insan admitted that he married Inara religiously in August 2025. Meanwhile, Insan only said he “wanted to remarry” to Mawa in October 2025. Apart from that, Inara found out that Insan had not divorced as previously claimed a few days after they got married.
“[Inara found out] on August 19, around that date. She [said] ‘it’s okay, no need to continue, I don’t want to get involved’. I tried to convince her, so she doesn’t really know anything,” said Insan.
“Both [Mawa and Inara] have potential, both have something that we can develop together as a team. And according to the law, I’m also afraid of hiding something, so I tried to come to Mawa to talk [in October],” he said.

Inara Rusli was previously reported by Wardatina Mawa to Polda Metro Jaya on charges of infidelity and adultery.Wardatina argued that her husband, whom she had been married to since 2019, Insanul Fahmi, was having an affair with Inara.
Insanul Fahmi is a young entrepreneur who operates in a number of business fields, from culinary and catering, digital exports, to sustainable technology.One of his businesses is the Kopikuni cafe in Medan.
Wardatina claimed that Inara had a relationship with the man with one child outside of a professional business relationship.He said he had quite strong evidence, namely CCTV footage which he said depicted an inappropriate interaction between the two.
detikHot said the report was registered with allegations of criminal acts of adultery and infidelity and until now the police have not provided details about this matter, including examining or summoning related parties.
