won gold in the sport of mountain bike racing in
SEA Games 2025
on Thursday (11/12) morning.
Rendy, who became Indonesia’s first medal winner at the 2025 SEA Games on Wednesday (10/12), returned to the podium.
This time the athlete from Kediri won gold, not silver like yesterday in the cycling mountain bike men’s downhill event.Rendy became champion in the mountain bike cross country eliminator number which took place at Khao Kheow Open Zoo, Chonburi.

Apart from one gold medal and one silver medal from Rendy, the sport of mountain bike racing also has another silver medal from Riska Amelia Agustina in the women’s downhill number.
Meanwhile, Rendy’s gold was the first for Indonesia today, as well as the sixth gold overall.
The Red and White contingent won five gold medals on Wednesday (10/12) through Jason Donovan Yusuf in the men’s 100 meter backstroke swimming pool, the men’s team badminton team, Andri Irawan from the petanque sport, the mixed kayak four team in the 500 meter number, and the men’s team team in the recognized poomsae taekwondo event.

By the time all the sports competed on Wednesday (10/12) were finished, Indonesia was in second place behind host Thailand, who had won 19 gold medals.
With the addition of gold from Rendy, Indonesia has now collected a total of six gold, nine silver and seven bronze medals.
Indonesia still has a chance to win gold medals in the sports competed today, such as swimming, athletics and canoeing.
