This festival is an initiative of the BUMN Regulatory Agency through synergy with large companies such as BRI, MIND ID, KAI, and PTPN.
More than 80 culinary MSMEs were invited to perform, bringing a variety of flavors that represent the richness of Indonesian culinary delights.They not only sell products, but also introduce stories and creativity from their respective regions to thousands of visitors who flock to the festival area.
For PTPN IV, involvement in JKI 2025 is not just a form of support, but is part of a long-term vision in strengthening the role of BUMN as agents of community economic empowerment.
Through this festival, PTPN IV wants to show that its impact is not only present through the plantation sector, but also from direct contributions to the development of MSMEs.This collaborative spirit shows that local economic strength can be built when large and small sectors meet on one inclusive platform.
In the midst of the excitement of the event, digitalization became an important foundation that was also introduced to MSMEs.Through the PaDi UMKM platform, transactions are carried out more quickly, transparently and well recorded.
Participants who are members of PaDi have the opportunity to continue transactions with consumers and state-owned enterprises after the festival ends.For many MSMEs, this is a new door to a wider market, an important step towards more modern business standards.
According to Loto Srinaita Ginting, BP BUMN Expert Staff, JKI 2025 is part of BUMN’s big agenda to encourage MSMEs to be more productive, adaptive and competitive.
He emphasized that BUMN support does not stop at administrative guidance, but must be realized in the form of real activities that provide direct results for business actors.This message is in line with the values upheld by PTPN IV in supporting the economic growth of the surrounding community.
During the three days of implementation, the festival atmosphere was never quiet.Visitors continue to flow from morning to evening, creating a space for warm interaction between buyers and MSME players.High enthusiasm has made many MSMEs record a significant increase in sales.
But more than just transactions, the experience of selling at large-scale events gives them a new understanding of consumer preferences, product display techniques, and effective service strategies.These things are important assets in strengthening their business mentality and self-confidence.
Their products also get wider exposure through media coverage, digital publications, and content they create themselves during events.

Head of Procurement and IT Section PTPN IV Regional II Dison M.P.Girsang expressed full appreciation for the implementation of JKI 2025.
“This is a good event, very interesting and can be held regularly. It can bring Indonesian MSMEs, especially in Medan, to a higher class,” he said.
