Corruption Eradication Commission

Yaqut was examined as a witness in the alleged corruption case in determining quotas and organizing the Haj pilgrimage at the Ministry of Religion for 2023-2024, Tuesday (16/12).He arrived at around 11.42 WIB.
Yaqut completed the examination at around 20.10 WIB.He, accompanied by his lawyer and spokesperson, completely handed over the examination materials to the Corruption Eradication Commission.

“My respected friends, please ask the investigators,” said Yaqut briefly at the KPK office, Jakarta, Tuesday (16/12) evening.
Until this news was written, the KPK had not provided information regarding the results of Yaqut’s examination.
Today, the Corruption Eradication Commission also scheduled an examination of witnesses from the Hajj and Umrah travel agency.
The witnesses in question are former Treasurer of the Muslim Association of Hajj and Umrah Organizers of the Republic of Indonesia (Amphuri) Tauhid Hamdi;Saodah Abdul Qodir as Travel Director of Farfaza Astatama;H Amaludin as Commissioner of PT Ebad Al-Rahman Wisata and Director of PR Diva Mabruro;Ida Nursanti as Deputy Treasurer of the Amphuri Bangkit Serving Cooperative.
Then Hilman Faza as Travel Farfaza Astatama;and Ali Makki as Director of PT Al Harmain Jaya Wisata.
KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said this afternoon that the investigation focused on deepening state financial losses.
“The examination this time is for calculating the KN,” said Budi when confirmed via written message.
During the ongoing investigation process, on August 11 2025, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) issued a Decree prohibiting traveling abroad for Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, his staff, especially Ishfah Abidal Aziz, and the owner of the Maktour Travel travel agent, Fuad Hasan Masyhur.
The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) has also searched a number of places, such as Yaqut’s residence in Condet, East Jakarta, the Hajj and Umrah travel agent’s office in Jakarta, the ASN house of the Ministry of Religion in Depok, and the room of the Directorate General of PHU of the Ministry of Religion.
Many pieces of evidence allegedly related to the case were confiscated.These include documents, electronic evidence (BBE), four-wheeled vehicles and property.
