FIFA adds prizes for champions

The prize for winning the 2026 World Cup will be the highest in history.For comparison, Argentina received US$42 million as champion of the 2022 World Cup and France won US$38 million in the 2018 World Cup as a prize.
The budget of US$727 is money that is divided among the participating teams according to the achievements of each team.Those who finish in the group phase will earn US$9 million or Rp. 150.4 billion.The numbers increase as the camp travels further.
On the one hand, FIFA is in the spotlight because it increased match ticket prices.This is after FIFA made ticket prices triple the 2022 World Cup and 3.5 times more expensive than the 2018 World Cup.
At the 2022 World Cup, match ticket prices are priced at US$25 or IDR 417 thousand.This means that at the 2026 World Cup, spectators will have to spend at least US$75 for the cheapest tickets.
