Previously, the police confirmed that the skeleton found in Tenjo, Bogor, West Java, was Alvaro Kiano Nugroho (6).This was confirmed by the Head of the National Police Hospital, Brigadier General Prima Heru, at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital after matching Alvaro’s DNA sample with his mother, Arum.
The family has asked that the grave site be excavated since the discovery of Alvaro’s body, which was then taken to the National Police Hospital (RS) on Sunday (23/11).
Local cemetery officials have also prepared a small plot measuring 120 centimeters (cm) long or the size of a Grade 1 elementary school child’s grave, while waiting for DNA tests and completeness of the victim’s body parts.
Alvaro’s body was found in the Cerewed River under the Cilalay bridge, Bogor Regency, after the boy was reported missing for eight months.
The perpetrator of Alvaro’s kidnapping and murder was his stepfather and Arum’s ex-husband, Alex Iskandar (49), who was arrested Wednesday (19/11) evening.The police then stated that Alex was found dead, suspected of committing suicide, in the South Jakarta Metro Police counseling room on Sunday (23/11) morning.
According to police information, Alex was found hanging himself not long after being arrested and detained by the police.The police also revealed the motive for Alvaro’s murder, namely because his stepfather was jealous of his wife.
