At least 23 students were short of breath as a result
fire

Nurma said all the victims had been taken to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.
He explained that the victims experienced shortness of breath because they helped put out the fire.
“The thing is, they helped (put out the fire) there. There’s a warehouse underneath, there’s a lot of wood,” he said.
Until now, the cause of the fire cannot be ascertained.
“No, it’s not yet known,” said Nurma.
Previously, as many as 66 personnel from the South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. extinguished the fire.
The fire, which was located on Jalan Sadar Raya No.34 3, RT03/RW04, Ciganjur, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta City, was reported starting at 14.30 WIB.
Information about the fire came from public reports submitted to the nearest Gulkarmat post.The situation was then handled and was in the process of cooling down since 15.30 WIB.
