Deden Deni revealed that he was suspected of being the perpetrator of bullying

This was revealed in his statement when accompanying PPPA Minister Arifah Fauzi on a pilgrimage visit to the victim’s house Monday (17/11).
“Today we accompanied the Minister of Women’s and Children’s Empowerment who deliberately visited the house of Muhammad Rizky’s parents (the victim’s older brother), to convey his condolences,” he said.

Deden confirmed that the legal process for this case was ongoing.He also revealed that several witnesses had been summoned.
“It’s already underway with the police, there are already stages of investigation, several witnesses have been called, friends of teachers, friends of students, friends of classmates who were in the same place at the time of the incident. So there are already several students who have been questioned by the PPA unit,” he said.
Furthermore, Deden Deni revealed that the alleged perpetrator was given a choice regarding the school process.
“We give them a choice, do they want to go to school or what? For example, if it’s because the students are also in a state of shock, maybe that’s the case, so we give them a choice,” he said.
Furthermore, he also said that he had visited the house of the alleged perpetrator’s parents.
“Yes, today we also visited his parents’ house (the alleged perpetrator’s parents) to see his condition,” he said.
Previously, MH, a grade 7 student at SMPN 19 Ciater Serpong, a resident of Maruga village RT 11/09, Ciater Village, Serpong District, South Tangerang, Banten was suspected of being a victim of bullying by his classmates.
The incident allegedly occurred at SMPN 19 on October 20 2025 in the school room.At that time, the victim was allegedly hit on the head with an iron bench.
Based on information from the victim’s older brother, his younger sibling was treated at a private hospital in South Tangerang City.Because his condition was getting worse, he was transferred to Fatmawati Hospital.However, after one week of treatment at the hospital, the victim was declared dead.
This case is already in the police investigation stage.South Tangerang Police Chief AKBP Victor Inkiriwang said six witnesses had been questioned.
“We have examined six witnesses. These six are from the school or teachers,” he said on Sunday (16/11).
