said the alleged perpetrator had assembled the explosives used in the incident himself

“It’s true to assemble it yourself,” said Densus 88 Anti-terror Police spokesperson AKBP Mayndra Eka Wardhana to reporters, Monday (10/11).
However, he was reluctant to reveal further details about where the alleged perpetrator learned about the explosive assembly process.Including the type of explosive made and used in the incident.

“Please confirm with the Brimob Gegana authorities or Bidhumas Polda Metro Jaya,” he said.
On the other hand, Eka said that the perpetrators often visited online communities, especially forums and darknet sites, before carrying out their actions.
He said the site visited by the alleged perpetrator contained videos or photos related to war, murder and other sadistic acts.
“Which displays videos or photos of people who have actually died, usually as a result of accidents, war, murder or other brutal events,” he explained.
Previously, an explosion occurred at SMAN 72 North Jakarta, Friday (7/11) at around 12.15 WIB, in the school mosque area during Friday prayers.
There were no fatalities in the incident.However, there were 96 people injured in the incident.
Densus 88 Anti-terror Police said there were seven explosives brought by the alleged perpetrator to SMAN 72 Jakarta.Of the total explosives carried by the alleged perpetrator, four of them exploded in two different locations.
Meanwhile, the other three explosives have not been used and have been confiscated by officers for further investigation.
