Denny Landzaat parted ways with the Indonesian national team after failing to bring Garuda to qualify for the 2026 World Cup under the management of Patrick Kluivert.
Four days after Jay Idzes and friends failed to make it to the 2026 World Cup, Kluivert and the coaching team, including Landzaat, left Indonesia.

reported Denny Landzaat reportedly joining Ajax.
The former FC Twente, Feyenoord and AZ Alkmar player became Fred Grim’s assistant.Grim is the interim coach of Ajax who replaced John Heitinga.
Landzaat is said to have been at the Ajax training camp in De Toekomst on Monday (17/11) local time.The former assistant coach of the Indonesian National Team is considered a suitable ‘right hand’ for Ajax’s interim coach.
Landzaat joined Ajax because Heitinga’s ‘gang’ including assistant coaches Marcel Keizer and Frank Peereboom also left.
Previously, the team management nicknamed De Godenzonen included Paul Nuijten, Ajax U-19 coach, in the coaching team.
Currently, Ajax is looking for a technical director (dirtek) after the departure of Alex Kroes.The name of the Indonesian National Team advisor, Jordi Cruyff, has been mentioned as one of Ajax’s technical candidates.
