The explosion occurred at the metro station serving Red Fort.Red Fort is one of the most visited historical sites in New Delhi.
This building is 350 years old because it was built in the Mughal era.The area around Red Fort is a dense area.
Red Fort is currently closed for three days following the explosion.The closure was carried out to disperse the crowd to facilitate investigations.
