Sufmi Dasco Ahmad
said that his party colleague Rahayu Saraswati aka Sara had returned to being active in the DPR.
Dasco admitted that he had met President Prabowo Subianto’s nephew in the Gerindra faction room of the DPR.Even so, Sara has not been seen at the DPR Commission VII meeting.
“I saw it, yes, it was in the faction yesterday,” said Dasco at the parliament complex, Thursday (13/11).

Previously, through a video uploaded to her Instagram account last September, Sara announced her plans to resign from membership in the DPR for the 2024-2029 period.
Sara did not clearly reveal the reasons for her resignation.However, he apologized for his statement which was in the spotlight on February 28 2025.
The statement in question was when he invited people to become entrepreneurs rather than relying on the government.
Later, the DPR RI Council of Honor (MKD) rejected his resignation through a decision announced on Thursday (30/10).The nephew of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is said to have never officially proposed to resign.
Second, MKD saw that Sara had never committed any violation, except for her statement which went viral in February 2025.
“The DPR RI MKD has decided that Sister Rahayu Saraswati will remain as a Member of the RI DPR for the 2024-2029 period,” said the MKD in a written statement.
Dasco said the rejection was based on a letter from the Gerindra Party Court.Referring to the letter, he said, Sara did not fulfill the elements of the alleged violation alleged by a number of parties for her statement which went viral in February 2025.
“Well, the decision of the Party Court was then sent to the MKD. After being examined by the MKD, and there was no reporting at the MKD, it finally confirmed the decision,” said the Deputy Speaker of the DPR who is also known as the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad when contacted, Thursday (30/10).
