for the serial version.It turns out he conveyed the message in a letter to the young actor.
He feels the need to provide support to Dominic McLaughlin, who will play the iconic character in the future, after the image of Harry Potter has stuck with him since playing in the first film in 2001.

Radcliffe said he gave this support not as a former owner of the role, but as someone who really understands what the child actor will go through.
“I wrote and sent a letter to Dominic, and he replied with a very sweet note,” Radcliffe was reported as saying

“I don’t want to be a figure who haunts their lives, I just want to write to him and say, ‘Hope you have fun, even more than I used to have. I used to really enjoy it, but I hope you enjoy it even more,” he said.

He admitted that he felt moved when he saw the photos of the child actors in the series.This reminded him of his own experience when he started playing Harry Potter at the age of 11.
“Every time I see photos of him and the other children, I really want to hug them. They look so small,”
“I look at them and think, ‘Crazy, I used to do that at their age.’But it’s also moving and I hope they really enjoy the process.”
The Harry Potter series is set 14 years after the last film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. This project will adapt all seven books by J.K.Rowling with an updated storyline.
The broadcast date for this series has not yet been determined, but this project has been planned to be broadcast in 2027 with one season following a book by JK Rowling.
The project will feature new faces.Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley.Twins Tristan and Gabriel Harland will play Fred and George.
Meanwhile, John Lithgow will play Professor Albus Dumbledore, while Nick Frost has been appointed to play Hagrid.
Francesca Gardiner will serve as head writer and producer.Meanwhile, Mark Mylod also serves as executive producer and also directed several episodes in this series.
Filming for the Harry Potter series has begun on July 14 2025, at the iconic Warner Bros. location.Leavesden Studios, UK.
The Harry Potter series is scheduled to start airing in 2027 on HBO Max.
