Management Body
Investment
Daya Anagata Archipelago (
Danantara
) recorded more than half of state-owned enterprises (
BUMN
) losses every year.
“(Number of BUMN that paid dividends)
less than 1 percent
, which has a minimum loss of 52 percent.”So our job is that if there is a company that is losing money, we can’t fix it by consolidating,” said Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Danantara Pandu Sjahrir at the Antara Business Forum at the Westin Hotel, South Jakarta, Wednesday (19/11).
Not only that, the number of BUMNs that pay dividends is also the case
t

However, these companies accounted for 95 percent of the total dividends paid by the state-owned entity.
“Of the 1,060 companies under Danantara, only 95 percent of those that gave dividends came from eight (companies),” explained Pandu.
Seeing this, continued Pandu, Danantara will improve. One way is by combining BUMNs that have similar tasks.
The Head of BP BUMN and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Danantara Dony Oskaria also expressed something similar.
Last August, Dony said that Danantara supervised 1,046 BUMN.However, 97 percent of dividends only came from eight of these companies.
“(Around) 52 state-owned companies lost money, and the total loss is more or less
direct loss
and
indirect loss
“The result of inefficiency in management is approximately IDR 50 trillion every year,” said Dony in the special
talk show
entitled Reading Economic Direction and Fiscal Policy 2026 with CT Corp Chairman Chairul Tanjung, Friday (15/8).
