The release was carried out at the Batch 5 Pijar Young Teacher Embedding event at the Mega Syariah Tower, South Jakarta, Wednesday (12/11).
CT ARSA Foundation Chair Anita Ratnasari Tanjung said the teachers would be sent today to their respective placement areas, and would teach for the next year.

“We will send young, quality teachers to remote areas. We have been doing this since 2021,” he said.
Anita said this program is not new.CT Arsa has been implementing it since 2021.
During that time, the PIJAR Program has been implemented and spread to 18 schools in 11 provinces.
A total of 170 Young Pijar Teachers have accompanied 1,800 students throughout Indonesia.
He added that apart from teaching reading and writing, the teachers sent through the Pijar Program also guide and provide character education to students.
They also teach the importance of tolerance.
“We teach them that even though they have different religions, tolerance is what is very important for them. Different religions are okay, we have to live in harmony,” he said.
Not only that, PIJAR Young Teachers also teach students to care about the environment.Especially now that there is a climate crisis
“So it is very necessary to teach them to maintain it according to the holy verse of the Koran, Surah Al-Qasas, where we must do good because Allah has done good to us. And also Allah does not like people who like to destroy the earth,” he said.
