) requires a lot of time to complete the investigation into the alleged Money Laundering Crime (TPPU) case of the former Minister of Agriculture

The reason is, SYL is suspected of receiving money from another alleged corruption case at the Ministry of Agriculture, which is still being investigated.
Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the Corruption Eradication Committee, Asep Guntur Rahayu, said that the alleged SYL money laundering case was initially a development of a corruption case in the form of extortion, gratification and buying and selling of positions as a predicate crime which had permanent or inkrah legal force.

“But then there were several cases during Mr. SYL’s ministerial tenure as well, so we are of course waiting so that these cases also go up, so that the TPPU can be handled at once,” said Asep at the KPK’s Red and White Building, Jakarta, Monday (24/11) evening.
Other alleged corruption cases which are still in the investigation stage are regarding the procurement of formic acid or ant acid and the procurement of X-Ray.Both cases apply the Article on state financial losses.
“We are putting this behind us because of course there is also a flow of money from these cases. Our suspicions are against SYL and we must prosecute him at the same time. That is why the TPPU requires additional time,” said Asep.
In the alleged corruption case in the procurement of ant acid for the 2021-2023 period, the KPK has named one person as a suspect.It’s just that his identity has not been made public.Based on initial calculations, state financial losses are estimated to have reached IDR 75 billion.
In the process, as many as eight people have been prevented from going abroad with the initials DS (private), YW (PNS), RIS (private), SUP (PNS), DJ (retired), ANA (PNS) and AJH and MT (PNS).
Meanwhile, in the case of alleged corruption in the procurement of X-Rays at the Agricultural Quarantine Agency (Barantan) of the Ministry of Agriculture in 2021, there were two procurements, namely the procurement of static X-Rays and mobile X-Rays, as well as the procurement of X-Ray trailers or containers.The total reached IDR 194.2 billion.
It is suspected that the procurement was corrupt, resulting in state financial losses of around IDR 82 billion.
The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) has also issued Decree Number: 1064 of 2024 concerning the ban on six Indonesian citizens traveling abroad.They are WH, IP, MD, SUD, CS, and RF.
