As a result of the investigation, the police arrested the perpetrator, Sri Yuliana, who admitted to selling Bilqis to a woman until she was taken to Jambi.
“On November 3, I took (the victim), the one who wanted to buy it said he wanted to see his child but first bought a plane ticket,” said Sri Yuliana in front of officers from the Makassar Police Headquarters, Sunday (9/11).

After it was agreed, said Sri, the woman gave Rp. 3 million.However, he claimed he did not know the identity of the woman who bought Bilqis .
“I don’t know his name, (I sold) three million. But, he himself said (the price) IDR 3 million,” claimed Sri.
Bilqis is in good health
Makassar Police Chief, Police Commissioner Arya Perdana, said Bilqis was found by police at night in Jambi in good health.
“The child was found at night and was taken back to Makassar,” said Arya.
After arriving in Makassar, Bilqis’ health and psychological condition were checked.
“No signs of abuse were found. Psychological examinations carried out by the Health Service and the Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Service also showed that the child was in very good condition and looked cheerful,” he said.
In this case, the police succeeded in arresting a number of people suspected of being in a criminal trafficking network (TPPO).However, Arya does not want to mention the total number of perpetrators and their motives.
“The release will be delivered later. The child has been found, the investigation process is still being carried out on the victim, parents and the alleged perpetrators who have been arrested,” he explained.
“Tomorrow (Monday) we will officially release the results of the investigation, including the possible involvement of international network syndicates,” said Arya.
Previously, Bilqis was reported to be the victim of kidnapping by a woman while her parents were playing tennis.
“I was on the tennis court, wanting to exercise while training,” said the victim’s father, Dwi Nurmas (34) to reporters, Wednesday (5/11).
Dwi explained that while playing on the tennis court, his son was playing on the edge of the court, on Sunday (2/11) at around 10.00 WITA.However, when he was enjoying playing tennis, Dwi did not see his child.
“Indeed, I often take him to coach. I always monitor him when he plays, I often call him to respond. But when I called him in the third game, he wasn’t there,” he said.
Then CCTV footage circulated showing a woman wearing a black shirt and trousers carrying three children, one of whom was thought to be the victim’s child walking on the side of the road in a hurry, occasionally looking back.
