Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini said this flexible work pattern was to ensure that services to the public remained optimal during the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays.

According to Rini, with the FWA policy, state servants can continue to carry out their duties both from the office and other locations according to the arrangements of their respective agencies.
This policy applies to civil servants to the TNI in central and regional government agencies or institutions.
However, he emphasized that government agencies must continue to carry out essential public services optimally, especially services that have a direct impact on society.
“We have issued a letter to all heads of government agencies to implement flexible work arrangements while still paying attention to the continuity of public services,” he stressed.
Separately, the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli appealed to companies to implement

(WFA) for workers on 29-31 December 2025.
This appeal is a follow-up to the results of the cabinet meeting which discussed efforts to optimize community mobility during Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru).
