He added that the hospital never refused patients from any area.
“Thank God, we want to say that we never refuse patients who have an ID card or don’t have an ID card. From Jakarta or from Tangerang, or from Depok or from Bekasi, or from other places,” he added.
He said that since its inception, RSIJ Cempaka Putih was founded to serve the lower middle class community.
“This hospital was founded from the beginning and was actually for the benefit of the people

.”This is different from hospitals that make a profit every year, there are dividends that must be paid to shareholders.”
Pradono emphasized that the hospital he leads is non-profit.Over the past five years, excess operational funds have not been paid to shareholders, but have been used to purchase medical equipment, improve employee welfare, and provide assistance to patients who do not have residence documents.
“I’ve been here for 5 years. At the end of every year, if there is a surplus, I have never been asked to make a deposit to shareholders. Some of the funds are used to buy new equipment, some for employee welfare and some for social funds, including for people who don’t have documentation.”
Previously, a resident of Baduy Dalam named Repan became a victim of robbery in the Rawasari area, Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta (Jakpus).
He was injured in his left hand after repelling a sickle attack from a robber.Repan lost 10 bottles of honey he sold and IDR 3 million in cash.
Repan then looked for the nearest hospital for treatment for the wound on his left hand, but officers at the hospital instead asked for his ID card and personal documents.
When asked for his identity card, Repan could not show it because he was still 16 years old.The officer then advised Repan to go to another hospital which was said to be not far from the location.
Repan had time to follow these instructions, but decided again because he did not know the exact location of the hospital the officer was referring to.When the second arrived, the hospital staff had just bandaged the wound on Repan’s left hand with gauze to absorb the blood.
Head of Public Relations for the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Inspector Ruslan Basuki, explained that the victim had reported the incident to the authorities at the Cempaka Putih Police on Sunday (2/11).
“On Sunday, November 2 2025, the victim made an LP (police report),” said Ruslan when confirmed, Tuesday (4/11).
Until today, Wednesday (12/11), the perpetrator of the robbery against Repan has not been caught.
