, Ryan Gozali prepared a surprise in the next phase by opening up the possibility of professional players participating.
The 2025 Campus League will enter the final round in the national round, 3-7 December.According to him, the presence of figures or former professional players can increase the competitiveness of the Campus League as the highest university level tournament in Indonesia.
“Regarding the competition regulations for professional players or not, we are an extension of the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI). We discussed with the Chairman of the Indonesian Futsal Federation, Michael Sianipar, whether or not there are pro players,” said Ryan in Jakarta, Monday (1/12).
“In the future, if the federation supports pro players, of course with a quota, we will again just be an extension because the aim of this competition is also for the national team,” he added.
Currently, Ryan stated that the Campus League is still in the ‘Season 0’ stage so that the advantages and disadvantages of the initial phase will be used as evaluation material towards ‘Season 1’ which starts in 2026.
“If the federation is okay with the pro player quota, it could be included in that quota. We consider [Campus League 2025] as Season 0, this is not the final version yet and we internally want to get used to it, campuses also have to get used to it,” he said.
Previously, one of the participating teams used players who had previously competed professionally.Based on Campus League 2025 regulations, this is not permitted.

As a result of this incident, the team in question was given a deduction of three points and the player in question was disqualified from the 2025 Campus League series.
“Next year for Season 1, we want to prepare ourselves. I’m actually happy that there will be an incident in Season 0 so that the participants also know that any mistakes will be dealt with,” said Ryan emphasized.
