Previously, the Chairman of the North Sumatra Gerindra DPD, Ade Jona Prasetyo, said that the Gerindra Party in North Sumatra Province (North Sumatra) firmly rejected Budi Arie from joining his party.
Apart from the North Sumatra Gerindra DPD, Gerindra regional administrators in a number of regions have also voiced similar statements.
Ade Jona said that Gerindra North Sumatra rejected Budi Arie on the grounds that it did not conform to the party’s line of struggle.
Jona said that the rejection of Budi Arie was also to maintain the reputation of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, who is also the General Chair of Gerindra, in the eyes of the public.Moreover, a number of negative reports aimed at Budi Arie will damage the party’s image.

Ade Jona, who is also a member of the DPR RI from the Gerindra Party faction, said he had heard the aspirations of cadres at the Gerindra DPC level in North Sumatra.
According to him, all Gerindra DPCs in North Sumatra also asked Budi Arie not to join Gerindra.
“Party cadres at the grassroots are loyal and loyal to Gerindra. That’s why their aspirations need to be heard,” said Ade Jona.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Gerindra Pematangsiantar DPC, Gusmiyadi, suspects that Budi Arie only wants to be in the circle of power of the General Chairman of Gerindra, who is currently the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto.
“Budi Arie’s plan to join the Gerindra party is perceived by the public as a pragmatic step to maintain his chances of remaining at the epicenter of Prabowo’s power,” said Gusmiyadi.
Budi Arie who once served as Minister of Communications and Information in President Jokowi’s cabinet was briefly Minister of Cooperatives in Prabowo’s government cabinet.However, Budi Arie was removed from his ministerial post by Prabowo in early September, and replaced by Ferry Juliantono, who is also a Gerindra cadre.
Regarding Budi Arie’s refusal to join Gerindra, Gusmiyadi also touched on the alleged legal case that could potentially ensnare this figure.Apart from that, he said, Budi Arie was also considered to have joined because he wanted to get an important position from Prabowo.
“This pragmatic step can be seen as a way to protect himself from legal cases that could potentially involve him and on the other hand, Budi Arie also certainly hopes that he can still get an important position under President Prabowo’s leadership,” he said.
Until this news was written, there had been no official statement from Budi Arie or the Projo DPP regarding the rejection of a number of Gerindra regional administrators.
Previously, at the Projo Congress in early November in Jakarta, Budi Arie admitted that he would join Gerindra.Not only that, he admitted that he was asked directly by Prabowo.
