A total of 1,000 participants from developer associations, contractors, building shops and MSMEs took part in this socialization.
BNI Institutional Director Eko Setyo Nugroho emphasized that the housing sector is important in improving community welfare.
Not only that. The housing sector is also important in driving economic growth.
“The housing sector has a strategic role in national development. A house is not just a place to live, but the foundation for the welfare and productivity of society,” said Eko in a written statement.
He explained that mortgages were distributed through two schemes, namely Housing Supply-Side Credit for housing sector developers and entrepreneurs, and Housing Demand-Side Credit for low-income people.
This scheme is implemented in accordance with the latest regulations, starting from Coordinating Minister for the Economy Regulation No. 13/2025, PKP Ministerial Regulation No. 13/2025, to PMK No. 65/2025 regarding ecosystem management and interest subsidies.
Eko said Central Java was a priority area for BNI in distributing KPP and FLPP.
Priority is given considering the large potential of this province.Understandably, Central Java has a population of more than 37 million people and stable economic growth at around 5 percent per year.
On the other hand, the growth of industrial areas in Kendal, Batang, Tegal, Solo Raya and Purwokerto increases the demand for decent and affordable housing.
“Our data shows that Central Java is among the three provinces with the highest KPR Sejahtera FLPP distribution in Indonesia. This reflects the people’s enthusiasm for owning a home and strong support from the regional government,” he added.
Apart from expanding access to financing, the KPP and FLPP programs are considered to create multiple economic effects, especially in absorbing labor, strengthening supply chains, and empowering MSMEs providing building materials and construction services.
As part of the digital transformation, BNI also introduced wondr by BNI, a banking service platform that makes it easier for customers to apply for housing financing, monitor installments, and make transactions quickly, safely and efficiently.
Eko emphasized that BNI’s commitment to supporting the realization of decent housing is part of national mutual cooperation to achieve the target of building three million houses.
“For us, this program is not just financing, but a real form of social justice and welfare. We are optimistic that the target of building three million houses can be achieved and provide sustainable economic and social benefits,” he concluded.
Through collaboration between the government, financing institutions, industry players and MSMEs, BNI continues to strengthen the modern housing financing ecosystem that is inclusive, sustainable and able to answer the needs of people in Central Java and throughout Indonesia.
