A number of matches in the 2025 U-17 World Cup which took place on Sunday (9/11) changed the composition of the third best ranking standings, including affecting Indonesia’s chances of qualifying for the top 32.
Now the top position in the third best standings is occupied by Morocco with three points from the three matches played.

Below Morocco, from second to seventh position, are England, the Czech Republic, Tunisia, Paraguay, Saudi Arabia and Mexico.
Even though they have the same points, namely three points, Morocco has the right to lead the top three standings because of the superior goal difference (+8).
As is known, there are eight tickets to qualify for the top 32 from the third best ranking route.
This route is the only way for Indonesia to qualify for the round of 32.
Currently the Indonesian National Team is in third place in Group H with zero points from the two matches played with a goal difference of -6.
This means that the first thing the Indonesian U-17 National Team must do is win against Honduras on Monday (10/11) evening WIB.Victory will guarantee that third place in Group H belongs to Indonesia.
However, Indonesia must not just win, but also win with a landslide score.This will affect the calculation of goal difference which will later be used as a reference for determining the third best ranking.
