Ahmed is currently still being treated in hospital for a gunshot wound to the shoulder.When Albanesse saw him, Ahmed’s body was partially wrapped in bandages and had a tube in his nose.

According to Albanese, at that time Ahmed was about to get a cup of coffee.However, he heard gunfire and people being shot.
“He decided to act and his courage is an inspiration to all Australians,” he said of Ahmed.
Albanese also said that Ahmed’s actions were a manifestation of humanity that still exists and is real.
“When we witness crimes being committed, he shines as an example of the strength of humanity,” he said.
“We are a brave country. Ahmed Al Ahmed represents the best of our country.”
In a video released on Tuesday morning, Ahmed expressed his thanks to everyone who has supported and prayed for his recovery.
“I appreciate everyone’s efforts. May Allah reward your kindness and grant you prosperity,” he said.
Sydney is in the world spotlight following a shooting incident during the Jewish Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach on Sunday.Two armed men opened fire on the crowd.
As a result of this incident, 16 people died, including one perpetrator named Sajid Akram, and dozens of people were injured.
Later, authorities identified the two perpetrators as father and son, namely Sajid Akram and Naveed Akram.
In one video, Ahmed is seen sneaking around in a car park.When the perpetrator seemed careless, he immediately rushed to grab the weapon.
Ahmed and the perpetrator insisted on grabbing the weapons from each other.However, in the end the seller managed to get a weapon, and the perpetrator ran away.
