Airlangga guarantees that national internship participants are the best choice.
“Please KADIN accept the best children and this is generation Z, give them the opportunity to work,” said Airlangga.
Airlangga said that every year there are 1.5 million undergraduate graduates.However, they often cannot register for job vacancies because companies require them to have 1 – 2 years of experience.
For this reason, the government is organizing a national internship program with a target of 100 thousand participants this year.They will receive a salary from the government for six months.
He is confident that the National Internship participants are qualified because they have taken part in the selection.
“Imagine that in yesterday’s internship program, which was 100 thousand, 80 thousand per batch, there were those who registered for one position, a thousand people, 700 people, 500 people. So those who were accepted as internships definitely had competition because they had already been recruited and even those who chose government companies didn’t join in there,” said Airlangga.
National Internship participants are new university graduates who take part in the relevant ministry’s apprenticeship program, and must meet the following requirements:
– Indonesian citizen as proven by ownership of a Population Identification Number (NIK).
– Graduated from a Diploma or Bachelor’s education program no later than 1 (one) year when registering for an apprenticeship program starting from the date of the diploma.
– Come from a tertiary institution registered with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek).
