Saudi Arabia
launched the newest advanced warship called Raja Saud made in the state of Wisconsin,

The ships, produced for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF), are part of Saudi Arabia’s expanding efforts to modernize its fleet.
This modernization is carried out through the application of the latest technology, increased training and expansion of operational capabilities.
The Tuwaiq project is a key element of the plan, aimed at creating a more agile and modern naval force to face emerging maritime threats.
Saudi Arabia’s Chief of Naval Staff, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Ghuraibi, attended the launch ceremony along with top officials from Saudi Arabia and the US.
Apart from that, representatives from the companies involved in the ship, namely Lockheed Martin and Fincantieri, were also present at the event.
At the event, Lieutenant General Al-Ghuraibi made a speech emphasizing the “unlimited support” received by the RSNF from the leadership of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Ghuraibi said Project Tuwaiq significantly increases the Navy’s readiness to protect the Kingdom’s strategic interests as well as secure important maritime routes.
He also added that the ships were designed to carry out a variety of missions, including dealing with air, surface and underwater threats.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense said Al-Ghuraibi also met with the US Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Daryl Caudle, to discuss efforts to increase cooperation between the two navies.
