Stanley Monza suddenly resigned as national team coach

The resignation was made by Monza on Sunday (30/11) which made parties in Suriname quite surprised.
“After a thorough evaluation of the last period of international matches and after consulting with our team manager Brian Tevreden, I decided this week to resign from my position as head coach of the Suriname national team,” Menzo said in an official statement quoted from

The report did not mention in detail the reasons why Menzo, who is an Ajax Amsterdam legend, resigned as the architect of the team nicknamed Natio.
“A very important international match awaits Natio in March. A moment when we must do everything we can to make our collective dream and the dream of the Surinamese people come true. A dream that is still alive for all of us and which I sincerely believe can be achieved,” said Menzo.
