appointed Kuntadi as Head of the Attorney General’s Asset Recovery Agency (

) the new one.
This appointment is contained in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 179/TPA of 2025 regarding the dismissal and appointment of high-ranking middle leadership positions within the Attorney General’s Office dated November 20 2025.
Kuntadi’s appointment was also confirmed by the Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Center, Anang Supriatna.

“It’s true (Kuntadi was appointed by the President as Head of the Attorney General’s Asset Recovery Agency),” he said when confirmed via short message, Wednesday (26/11).
Through this appointment, Kuntadi will replace Amir Yanto, who has entered retirement.Meanwhile, Kuntadi will leave his previous position as Head of the East Java High Prosecutor’s Office (Kajati).
Before being appointed as Head of the Asset Recovery Agency, Kuntadi was recorded as holding several strategic positions within the Prosecutor’s Office.
One of them is the Director of Investigation at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes.He was also involved in exposing big corruption cases, for example, the BTS 4G Kominfo corruption case, the tin case and the sugar import case.
