Volodymyr Zelensky approved a new draft peace proposal submitted by the United States to end the war
Russia
and Ukraine.
The US previously revised the draft peace proposal after the previous version received strong criticism, including from European countries.In the old draft proposal, a number of points were considered too pro-Moscow.

Zelensky later stated that the “principles” of a revised US draft to end the Russia and Ukraine war would “result in a deeper agreement” and that “much depends” on Washington, quoted from

“The principles of this document can be expanded into a deeper agreement,” Zelensky said in his daily address.
“I expect further active cooperation with the American side and with President (Donald) Trump. Much depends on America, because Russia is very concerned about American power,” he said.
On Tuesday, Zelensky told Ukraine’s allies that Kyiv was ready to “move ahead” with the “framework” of the new US plan, but said there were still “sensitive points”.
“Ukraine has a framework that our team is working on in Geneva. That framework must be discussed and we are ready to move forward with the United States with the direct involvement of President Trump and Europe,” said Zelensky.
Zelensky later said he was “ready to meet” Trump to discuss “sensitive points.”
He called on European leaders to engage in negotiations because “security decisions about Europe must involve Europe”.
Trump Envoy to Meet Putin
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump on Tuesday (25/11) said Russian President Vladimir Putin would receive his envoy, Steve Witkoff, in Moscow.
Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, will also accompany Witkoff to meet Putin.
“Witkoff will probably go with Jared. I’m not sure about Jared’s departure, but he is involved in the process, a smart guy, and they will meet President Putin. I believe probably next week,” said Trump, quoted by AFP.
