Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher apologized for misjudging the player

Eze emerged as the star of Arsenal’s victory over fellow London team Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, Sunday (23/11).The player recruited from Crystal Palace scored three of the Gunners’ four goals against Tottenham.
Carragher admitted that he initially thought that only new recruit, Viktor Gyokeres, would be able to enter the first team.Meanwhile, other names such as Eze and Noni Madueke do not count as starter subscriptions.

“When Eze came in, I thought, ‘Okay, maybe this isn’t a winning [player]. We’ve seen some of his best moments this season, there were some good goals and then he scored a hat trick,” said Carragher as quoted by
Daily Mail
.
“So, I’m sorry. I clearly underestimated the importance of that recruitment, because he looks like he could make a real difference to Arsenal and win the title,” he continued.
Eze has now emerged as an important Arsenal player.The English player successfully played the role of Martin Odegaard who had to be sidelined due to injury as the team conductor.
Eze has scored four goals in 11 matches in all competitions.Apart from that, Eze also provided two assists.
In total, Eze has scored five goals and provided three assists in all competitions this season.
