“He misses his children. Yes, don’t use the term because he can’t talk to his children, right? Don’t give the impression that the memory of his children will be as if he no longer exists,” said Jon Mathias at the Central Jakarta District Court, Thursday (20/11/2025).

He even asked Irish Bella to at least give access to Ammar Zoni and the children so they could hear each other’s voices.

Jon Mathias emphasized that everything was needed to provide certainty to Ammar Zoni’s baby that he was still there and alive.Even though he is serving a period of detention, he has the right to communicate with his children.
“So yes, we are also asking Ammar’s ex-wife to be able to have contact. We can facilitate their child, maybe at least Ammar can hear her voice,” he said.
Ammar Zoni stated that he was ready to use the available communication channels, either through a personal approach to Irish Bella’s attorney, or through official procedures at the place of detention.
“At the moment it’s possible, that’s through a lawyer, contacting there. We have access. Later, access can also be opened. Family relations will be opened later because Ammar is more than a month old,” he said.
In drug cases, the Public Prosecutor applies multiple charges.The primary charge is Article 114 Paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 Paragraph (1) regarding buying and selling or being an intermediary for narcotics.
Meanwhile, the subsidiary indictment is Article 112 Paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 Paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning drug possession.
The agenda for the trial on Thursday (20/11) was a response from the Public Prosecutor to the exception submitted by Ammar Zoni last week, when the actor’s exception was rejected.
Meanwhile, Irish Bella and Ammar Zoni officially divorced on February 1 2024. This decision was valid after the Depok Religious Court (PA) granted Irish Bella’s petition for divorce against Ammar Zoni.
In the divorce, which was formalized through a reading from the PA Depok panel of judges via the online system, Irish Bella was also determined to be the holder of child custody.
