Austria is one of the big powers in the 2025 U-17 World Cup and they were able to continue their steps to the semifinals.Austria qualified for the semifinals after narrowly winning over Japan with a score of 1-0.Johannes Moser scored the winning goal in the 49th minute.
Italy can also advance to the last four with a narrow win.Italy took a 1-0 lead over Burkina Faso through Thomas Campaniello’s goal in the 83rd minute.

Portugal continued their prowess at the U-17 World Cup.Goals from Mateus Mide in the 41st minute and Jose Neto in the 53rd minute made Portugal end the match with a 2-0 win.
Meanwhile, Brazil was able to maintain its championship hopes by beating Morocco.Brazil won 2-1 over Morocco through Dell’s goal in the 16th minute and the winning goal in the fifth minute of injury time.
The quarter-finals also marked the end of the African and Asian representatives.Morocco, Burkina Faso and Japan were unable to advance to the semifinals and had to bury their dreams of becoming champions in the 2025 U-17 World Cup.
The semifinals will bring together Austria vs Italy and Portugal vs Brazil.The semifinal match will be played on Monday (24/11).
