Asian currencies vary.The Philippine peso rose 0.35 percent, the Singapore dollar minus 0.02 percent, the South Korean won minus 0.14 percent, and the Thai baht fell 0.35 percent, and the Japanese yen rose 0.43 percent.
Meanwhile, the main currencies of developed countries vary.The European euro was plus 0.14 percent, the Swiss franc rose 0.19 percent, the Australian dollar rose 0.09 percent, and the Canadian dollar minus 0.01 percent.
Doo Financial Futures analyst Lukman Leong said the rupiah strengthened against the weakening US dollar despite a series of strong US economic data.
