reveal the reasons for his faction’s removal

Kharis said the removal was carried out because of Mardani’s position as chairman of the party’s Election Winning Body.According to him, this task would be difficult for Mardani to carry out if he still served as Chair of BKSAP because he often required assignments abroad.
“So it’s impossible to be together with BKSAP who keeps going abroad. So that’s why people were replaced,” said Kharis when confirmed, Tuesday (18/11).

Mardani was replaced by Syahrul Aidi who is also a member of Commission I of the DPR on defense and foreign affairs.Mardani currently sits on Commission II in charge of political and government affairs.
According to Kharis, Syahrul is considered to have the experience and capacity to occupy this position.As an Egyptian graduate, Syahrul is considered to have the ability to continue voicing the Palestinian issue at BKSAP.
“We focus a lot on defending Palestine, communicating with the people around there,” he said.
Separately, Mardani has no problem with his removal.He asked for prayers for his new role as head of the party’s election winning campaign, even though there will be no elections in the near future.
“Thank God, the mandate has been carried out. The party asked me to focus on winning PKS. The mandate is heavy and I ask for prayers,” said Mardani.
