Meanwhile, Tedjowulan’s spokesperson, Kangjeng Pakoenegoro or Candra Malik, said that Tedjowulan’s appeal to postpone the coronation of the new king was based on the Decree (SK) of the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) number 430-9233 of 2017 concerning Determining the Status and Management of the Surakarta Kasunanan Palace.

“My words should be known to all parties, the sons and daughters of the court, the sentana of the court, the servants of the Surakarta Hadiningrat Palace, and all the people wherever they are,” he said.
