, Indra Sjafri said that Luke Xavier Keet, Reycredo Beremanda and Muhammad Mishbah had been sent home ahead of the trial match against Mali, Saturday (15/11).
Indra expressed this in a press conference ahead of the match against Mali in Jakarta, Friday (14/11).The coach from Batang Kapas, West Sumatra confirmed that the three were not sent home because they were not qualified.
“The coaching team carried out several test items, everything was looked at and validated through yesterday’s internal game. And we decided that for now because time is short, we need performance, not potential,” said Indra.

“Therefore, this performance is a performance that can be used at this time. So we returned the three players to the club. That doesn’t mean they don’t have potential, they have great potential, but we need [players] who are really ready to use at this time,” added Indra Sjafri.
Keet, Beremanda, and Mishbah are known to already have Indonesian passports.This is what made the three of them invited by Indra Sjafri to take part in the U-23 Indonesian National Team training camp ahead of the 2025 SEA Games.
Luke is a winger for the Greek second division club, GS Illioupolis, Reycredo who plays as a left winger and Mishbah who is an attacking midfielder is a player for the Aguilas Umak club from the Philippines.
The return of these three players means that the Indonesian U-23 National Team will have a strength of 30 players for the trial match against Mali.The Garuda Muda team will try out twice against Mali at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor, 15 and 18 November.
Indra Sjafri confirmed that he would not make large-scale rotations for these two matches.The coach who led Indonesia to win the gold medal at the 2023 SEA Games wants to try out the main framework of the U-23 Indonesian National Team.
