New Caledona U-17 became the team with the biggest defeat in the history of the U-17 World Cup after being beaten 0-16 by Morocco on Sunday (9/11).
Previously, New Zealand suffered the biggest defeat when they were slaughtered by Spain 0-13 at the 1997 U-17 World Cup.

At the 2017 U-17 World Cup, New Caledonia recorded one draw and two defeats in the three matches played in the group phase.
In that edition, New Caledonia was able to score two goals and conceded 13 goals.
In the 2023 edition, New Caledonia’s report card is worse.They always lose the three matches they play.
In fact, New Caledonia was unable to score a goal and conceded 24 times, including being slaughtered by England 10-0 and Brazil 9-0.
Then in the 2025 edition, New Caledonia recorded one draw against Japan with a score of 0-0, then lost twice, namely losing 1-6 to Portugal and losing 0-16 to Morocco.
